Qualifications and skills
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, electronic engineering, or mathematics
- 4+ years of software testing experience
- Experience working with / programming on Java
- Proven experience with automated testing, ideally using scripting languages
- Experience with exploratory testing
- Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse IDE
- Solid experience with data and test results analysis
- The initiative, self-motivation, thoroughness, and superior attention to details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL-TM) or Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
- Ability to work well in a globally distributed work environment
Nice to have
- Experience working with / programming on other programming languages like Python, C/C++, and Ruby
- Additional scripting and programming experience with software development tools
- Knowledge and experience with quality standards (ISO 9001, ASPICE, ISO 26262)
- Experience with Process Quality Assurance in software development (e.g., SPICE, CMMI)
- Experience testing against functional requirements, SW Qualification testing, Integration testing, and System Testing
- Experience in Machine Learning and AI Development
- Experience in People or Project Management
- Knowledge of digital photography and cameras
- Understanding of digital imaging or audio processing algorithms (digitization & coding, enhancement & restoration, segmentation, and description)
- Testing and QA experience for Automotive SW products or technologies
- Interest in the automotive sphere
Responsibilities
- Create test plans, monitor, and execute tests according to plan and project schedule
- Prepare detailed test reports by filtering and processing complex test results data
- Create and maintain test plans and procedures documentation, test-case specifications, and test reports
- Collect, review, and process extensive data collections and organize specific testing datasets
- Develop programs that automate the processing of large sets of data and images
- Design and implement automated test cases to check the quality of ML algorithms, products, and their features
- Design, implement, and perform comparative evaluations and benchmarking of imaging features in camera devices
- Organize, carry out, and document automated and manual exploratory testing of imaging or audio products in specific devices or software applications
