About project
TAGS Commerce (TAGS; formerly Boost) enables transactions to take place where and when purchase intent is highest. Buyers who activate a Tag experience a pre-loaded shopping cart with one-click functionality, eliminating several traditional purchasing steps. Like a transactional barcode, each Tag is encoded and comes in different formats to support all media types. QR Tags can be used for instant purchasing at physical locations, on products for repurchasing, or print materials like magazines or brochures. Link Tags can be used on social media as link stickers or bio links. Text Tags are great for live shopping, podcasts, and other types of conversational commerce. Tap Tags are fast and easy for consumers to engage with via websites, AR, VR, or the metaverse.

Qualifications and skills
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably in e-commerce, creator economy, or related industries
- Proficient in designing responsive JS frontends
- Proficient in using JS and TypeScript for backend logic
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience deploying serverless cloud functions and API logic
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think/work creatively, independently, and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Previous experience working with Shopify, Woo Commerce, or Magento
- Previous experience working in early-stage startups
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement API endpoints for user-facing features
- Plan and implement data model and DB for user-facing features
- Update frontend code to reflect new features
- Refactor legacy code and architecture into scalable systems
- Write documentation for existing and new code and assist engineering leadership in architecture efforts
- Set up and maintain dev-ops tooling for deploying code
